Blood On The Reins

Based on the novel of the same name.

Former cutting-horse champion Cade Mercer thought he’d left the arena behind for good. But when legendary judge Dalton Rusk dies under suspicious circumstances at the Legacy Cup Finals, Cade sees what no one else seems willing to admit: this was no accident. As he digs into Dalton’s final days, Cade uncovers a dark web of corruption hidden beneath the polished surface of the cutting-horse world—altered bloodlines, falsified records, controlled horses, and powerful interests determined to keep the truth buried. With the help of insider Laney McCrae and the unfinished notes of a dead horsewoman named Sarah Jenkins, Cade follows a trail that leads from feed rooms and registry offices to long-buried secrets tied to his own past. What begins as a search for answers becomes a reckoning with the lies that destroyed careers, silenced witnesses, and protected fortunes. In a world where reputation is everything and danger rides close behind, Cade must decide how much he is willing to risk to expose the truth.
